About the Commodore PET 2001

The Commodore PET 2001 was a revolutionary all-in-one computer featuring an integrated monitor, keyboard, and cassette tape drive in a distinctive white metal case. It was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 1977 alongside the Apple II and TRS-80, marking the beginning of the personal computer revolution. The PET was particularly popular in educational settings and featured Commodore BASIC built into ROM.
