About the Apple II
The Apple II was designed by Steve Wozniak and introduced at the West Coast Computer Faire in April 1977. It was one of the first computers to feature color graphics and an open architecture with expansion slots, making it highly versatile. The Apple II became enormously successful in homes, schools, and businesses, and its influence on personal computing cannot be overstated. It remained in production in various forms until 1993, one of the longest production runs in computer history.
