The Midwest Computer Museum is seeking an Apple I replica to add to our collection. The Apple I, released in 1976, was Apple Computer’s first product and represents a pivotal moment in computing history.

What We’re Looking For

  • Model: Apple I replica (any maker)
  • Year: Modern replica
  • Condition: Working condition preferred
  • Preferred Configuration:
    • Complete with keyboard and power supply
    • Any documentation or assembly instructions
    • Original packaging if available

About the Apple I

The original Apple I was hand-built by Steve Wozniak and sold by Steve Jobs in 1976. Only about 200 units were produced, making originals extremely rare and valuable. Replicas allow museums like ours to showcase this important piece of computer history in an accessible way.
